Technique Tuesday – Rock ‘n Roll!
This week’s Technique Tuesday features the Rock ‘n Roll Technique.
For Rock ‘n Roll, take a stamp – preferably an image that is relatively solid- and ink in the lighter of your two ink colors. Then, in the second, darker color – rock the edges of the stamp – and roll a bit. This will make just the edge portion of your image darker.
Some color combos work better than others – the color combo I used here was Old Olive and Garden Green – it didn’t photograph so well, but you can see a bit of transition in the colors from the edge.
This technique can be very subtle – like my example below – or – very bold! The choice is yours!
