New Core Colors – Daffodil Delight & Early Espresso

Here are the last of the new Core Colors – Daffodil Delight and Early Espresso. I really like Daffodil Delight- yellow is one of my favorite colors. This color is more saturated than So Saffron, but not as glaringly bright as Yo Yo Yellow (which is retiring!). Early Espresso is equally wonderful – a deeper, richer version of Chocolate Chip.

The sketch for this card came from the Stampin’ Connection site – a Stampin’ Up! site devoted to its demos.

All Supplies Stampin’ Up unless otherwise noted:
Stamps – Teeny Tiny Wishes
Colors -Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso
Paper – Naturals White cardstock, Greenhouse Gala Designer Series Paper
Accessories –  Stamp-a-majig, Scallop Oval Frame Big Shot die (not SU! Exclusive), Beautiful Wings Big Shot Embosslit

This is lovely! One of the prettiest cards I’ve seen with the new DSP. The butterflies really work so well with it!

I love the way you used the papers and the butterflies (especially the little one by the sentiment)! Great job with the sketch!

Absolutely beautiful card! What is the name of the scallop oval frame die that you are using for this card? The only one I’m finding in the Stampin’ Up catalog is the Bigz one but it’s way too big. Thank you very much.

Apparently the Scallop Oval Frame I used on this one is different than the SU exclusive die. I have some dies I’ve bought outside of SU, and this must have been one of them!
