Test post :-)
I’m making this test post from my Droid. I spent over an hour last night removing a stupid malware program from my pc, so I wanted to check and see how posting works from my phone in the event of my pc dying again.
In case you ever have issues with malware or viruses, be sure to check out GeekPolice. I followed their instructions, and so far so good. I hope the malware is gone for good now.
We now return to your regularly scheduled programming! Hopefully tonight or tomorrow I’ll have some craftiness posted for ya’ll!
Thanks for hanging in there with me!
New In Colors – Pear Pizzazz & Peach Parfait
Here’s the final installment of my features for the new In Colors from Stampin’ Up! this year!
Pear Pizzazz has been described as “the color that Old Olive and Certainly Celery would make if they had a baby”…and I think that’s a pretty accurate assessment!
Peach Parfait is a muted version of Pumpkin Pie in my opinion. I think it will make some nice monochromatic designs with Pumpkin Pie!
Without further adieu…

All Supplies Stampin’ Up unless otherwise noted:
Stamps – Friends Never Fade, Elements of Style
Colors -Pear Pizzazz, Peach Parfait, Whisper White
Accessories – White Grosgrain Ribbon, Stamp-a-majig, Scallop Border punch

What I’ve been up to…
I’ve finally finished (well almost finished) the little side project I’ve been working on the past 3 weeks.
It’s actually been a work in progress for much more than 3 weeks, I’ve just been busy PAINTING for the past 3 weeks. My brother in law custom built this piece for me…and I have to say, he did an amazing job! It’s not completely done, because the four smaller openings on the bottom will be getting custom doors he still needs to finish up. The shelf is about 12 or 14 feet wide by almost 9 feet tall.
I can’t wait to get all my books and scrapbooks on it!
Here it is in all it’s glory…

Maybe now that’s pretty much done, I can get back to posting some crafty things for ya’ll!!
I’m a bad blogger!
OK. So I haven’t posted anything in almost 3 weeks now. I know, I’m a bad blogger. I’ve had some house projects I’ve been working on. If I ever get them done I’ll post pics here! My goal is to finish up this weekend so I have time to be crafty again…I miss making crafty things!
To be continued my friends…

Stampin’ Up! just released FOUR new downloads today for MDS! As always, these can also be downloaded for use in other software that accepts .png and/or .jpg files.
Visit my site here to see and purchase these!
Edited to add: The individual page prints are also now available!

Five individual pages minimum per order.
The individual pages are great, because you can slip them right into our albums and page protectors! Unlike the bound albums SU! offers, you don’t have to plan your entire book out in advance. Since there’s only 5 pages minimum per order, you can work at your own pace to finish up that album! Individual pages also offer the freedom of reordering your pages in your album however you like. $2.95 is also a fantastic price for SU! quality!
Now, onto the downloads!
My favorite by far – can’t wait to use it:

Butterfly Flutterbies…
I’m pretty sure that the Beautiful Butterfly Big Shot die is my all time favorite. I say “pretty sure” because I just got the *brand new* Beautiful Wings embosslit – and haven’t tried it yet – so I reserve the right to change my mind!
It’s so simple to whip up quick, gorgeous cards using the Big Shot. These literally took 10 minutes to make – and that’s for ALL FOUR cards!! And with a set like Teeny Tiny Wishes, you can make these work for ANY occassion!
How pretty are these?

All Supplies Stampin’ Up unless otherwise noted:

Happy New Year!!
Well, another year closes and a new one opens. This year has been quite a whirlwind for me!
Highlights of 2009:
Traveling to Singapore/Malaysia/Indonesia (and seeing the airport in UAE)
Seeing the Cherry Blossoms in DC for the first time
Happy Hours!
Starting this blog!
Seeing Kasey Kahne up close and personal ![]()
Spending time with family and friends

I hope 2010 is just as fun-filled as 2009! I do have a few resolutions though:
2010:
Post more regularly to this blog!!
Catch up on ALL of my scrapbooking projects (that in itself will be quite a feat)
Eat out less
Learn at least 5 new recipes to add into the weekly rotation
Spend more time with my friends and family
I hope everyone has a safe, happy and healthy New Year! If you go out, please don’t drink and drive!!
Technique Tuesday – Embossed Rectangle
Finally a new post!
I know it’s not Tuesday, but here’s a technique anyway!
When I first saw the Forest Friends set, I knew I just had to have it. This little deer was just too sweet!
To make this card, I dry embossed the rectangle. How did I do that? Who needs fancy dies? I used the mat from a previous Technique Tuesday installment here —> Masked Mat
I placed the mat over the front of my cardstock on top of a mousepad, then ran my stylus around the inner edge of the cut rectangle. To make it look like rectangle is embossed outward, just flip your card inside out and emboss on the inside.
The clouds were sponged on using the white craft ink, as was the grass using Old Olive. I popped little Bambi up with some Stampin’ Dimensionals. How cute!!
All Supplies Stampin’ Up unless otherwise noted:
Stamps – Forest Friends, Fresh Cuts
Colors -Close to Cocoa, Old Olive, Whisper White
Paper – Kraft cardstock
Accessories – Sponges, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Stamp-a-majig
